LIVE PERFORMANCE GEAR
This page includes gear I personally use for live performance, practice, recording, and music education. Some items are part of my regular stage setup, while others are used in my practice room or kept as backup gear. When an exact item is not available, I may link to similar options or used listings.
Microphones & Vocal Gear
Shure SM58-LC Dynamic Vocal Microphone
Cardioid XLR Mic
The Shure SM58-LC has been my workhorse vocal microphone for over 30 years. I have used it through countless rehearsals, live shows, and stage setups because it is durable, familiar, and dependable. It gives me a consistent vocal sound and has earned its place as one of the most trusted pieces of gear in my live performance setup.
On-Stage GPA1003 Utility Stand
The On-Stage GPA1003 Utility Stand is the main stand I use in my solo performance setup. I use it with a regular boom mic stand, the On-Stage MSA6000 mixer platform, and an On-Stage guitar stand attachment, giving me multiple functions from one stable setup. The flat square base also helps me place my pedalboard and monitor closer to where I stand, which keeps my live setup tighter, cleaner, and easier to control.
OnStage MSA6000 Platform for Mic Stands
I use the On-Stage MSA6000 platform to keep my mixer within easy reach during solo performances. It mounts to a mic stand and gives me a practical place to set my mixer so I can make quick adjustments without reaching across the stage. It also helps keep my setup cleaner by letting me use shorter cables to reach the mixer inputs.
On-Stage GPA7155
Guitar Stand for GPA1003 Microphone Stand
The On-Stage GPA7155 Guitar Hanger is part of my compact solo performance setup. I use it with my On-Stage stand system so I can keep my bass close, secure, and easy to reach during a show. Combined with my boom mic, mixer platform, and flat-base stand, it helps me keep more of my setup in one controlled area instead of spreading gear across the stage.
